The Rotary Club of Encounter Bay manage the Port Elliot and Goolwa Wharf Markets with a team of 20 Rotarians. The Port Elliot Market hosts 40-50 stalls and is held on Lakala Reserve which hosts a lake, playground and BBQ facilities. The Goolwa Wharf Market is a busy market with over 80 stalls in the vibrant wharf precinct. Both markets provide: local fresh produce, preserves, books, plants, jewellery ,lots of high quality handmade items coffee and foods.
The Goolwa Lions operates a Book Market that offers thousands of books from 50 cents to $5.
The Cittaslow Goolwa Farmers Markets are held at Jeralde Park on the second and fourth Sundays of every month, 9am to 1pm, except in January when special times are set. Fresh, fantastic, Fleurieu fine foods are sourced locally from our wonderful region covering the Alexandrina Council area. Items such a breads, beef and lamb, seasonal vegetables and fruit plus much more are for sale. This is your chance to speak directly with the farmer, producer, grower or cook.
