Learn how to surf and have surfing lessons from Ocean Living Surf School, located at Goolwa Beach, 80 minutes south of Adelaide CBD. Ocean Living Surf School offers group and private surf lessons; team building; surfing awareness lessons for kids, adults, parties, school groups, women only, corporate and community groups. Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced. Proprietor Philip Ball and his instructors provide a great learning experience with the latest gear and techniques with all equipment provided (surfboard, wetsuits, sun block). We also incorporate safety and ocean awareness into all lessons, all of which is designed to get you surfing and improving and above all having fun.

As a museum, the Goolwa River Boat Centre houses many exhibits that illustrate the river and its place in the development of Australia, including many models of boats from the trading era, as well as historic photos and relics of the former trade, all backed up by panels discussing the various artefacts and their place in history.
Enjoy a scenic tour (1.5 hours) of this unique cattle and sheep station, run over a series of islands in the heart of the Coorong. We offer historic station tours, bird watching tours or photography tours. The unusual blend of salt and fresh water environments lend themselves to myriad birdlife and a diverse ecological wonderland with picturesque scenery and natural flora and fauna. Your tour begins on Hindmarsh Island and progresses across the Mundoo Barrage to Mundoo Island where the historical story begins to unfold.

As long as you do it within the limits of the cockle season, you can do the 'cockle shuffle' and raise enough of these molluscs to the surface for a meal. Note that there are limits in size and weight.
