South Lakes Golf Club

The South Lakes Golf Club comprises 18 holes of Santa Anna Couch fairways and Poa Annua/Bent Grass greens. The design of the course provides golfers of all ages, with differing skill levels, the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely round of golf. The relatively flat terrain makes the course a pleasant walk while listening to the waves crashing on the beach in the background. The course is not long but still provides a challenge to low handicappers as accuracy is the priority, particularly approach shots to the greens.

With an unbeatable view of the Golf Course and stunning sunsets, we are proud to offer one of the top destinations in the area for weddings, special events, family dinners and even a romantic night out. Our clubhouse has a great outdoor decking area to catch a beautiful sunset, and is well appointed with a modern bar and dining area.

Our clubhouse is air conditioned for your comfort and always open to visitors throughout the year apart from Good Friday and Christmas Day. Our sunset room is perfect for birthday parties, anniversary celebrations and wedding receptions. Our Birdie Bistro Restaurant is open weekly for lunch on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and for dinner on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Our clubhouse has ramp access and handicap-accessible toilet facilities. We also house ladies’ and gentlemen’s changing room under the main roof use by the public and members alike. Stop in today to have a drink at the bar, watch a spectacular sunset or sit down for dinner. Our Head Chef David Cross and his team are always ready to cater for your needs. The Birdie Bistro's Carvery night is certainly a highlight of the food calendar each month and you should book early if you wish to attend the evening.
